Setting Meaningful Objectives
This year Minessence is celebrating 20 years of working full-time in the values field and with the AVI (A Values Inventory). To mark this occasion we are offering you a chance to explore your values via the AVI Survey and to set Values-Based New Year Resolutions (Meaningful Objectives) for 2008.
A special AVI Report has been developed specifically to help set Meaningful Objectives based on your responses to the AVI.
The Special Five Page Report:
- Provides an explanation of the link between objectives and actions and why some people fail to fulfill objectives
- Lists your identified priority values from a selection of 128 different values that form the building blocks of human nature and relationships
- Defines your values for your review and consideration
- Separates your values into three distinct categories that help you understand your motivations and where to place your focus
- Explains the significance of these categories for living your values
- Provides space to create meaningful objectives and relate them to your identified values
- Offers quotes and references for greater learning
Values are different than your skills, knowledge and attitudes. For most people they are their unconscious motivators. Before you can set meaningful objectives you must know with crystal clarity, what your priority values are.” (Setting Meaningful Objectives Minessence Group 2008)
